Huntzu is a search and discovery index of publicly available creator information. We do not host subscriber content, but we take reports about the material we index seriously and act on them fast. This page explains how to report content involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, impersonation, and other illegal material โ and exactly what happens after you do.
Before you file a report, use the right channel:
- You are a creator and simply want your profile delisted โ you do not need this page. Removal is free and requires no legal claim: email [email protected] with your username, your Huntzu profile link, and proof of control over the underlying account. See Section 6 of our Terms of Service.
- Your copyrighted work is being used without authorization โ use the takedown process in our DMCA Policy ([email protected], subject line "DMCA Takedown Notice").
- Everything else โ minors, non-consensual imagery, impersonation, or other illegal content โ this page.
1. Content Involving Minors โ Zero Tolerance
Huntzu indexes profiles only from source platforms that contractually require all creators to be at least 18 years old and to pass identity verification before publishing. Despite this, if you believe that any image or profile indexed on Huntzu depicts a person under 18, report it immediately.
Reports involving minors are prioritized above all other requests. Upon receipt we will:
- Review the report immediately, ahead of all other queues
- Remove the material upon a reasonable belief that it may depict a minor โ we do not wait for certainty
- Report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) where required by 18 U.S.C. ยง 2258A
- Preserve related records as required by law and cooperate fully with law enforcement
- Add the material to our suppression list to prevent re-indexing
2. Non-Consensual Intimate Imagery (NCII) โ 48-Hour Removal
Consistent with the TAKE IT DOWN Act (Pub. L. No. 119-12), Huntzu maintains a notice-and-removal process for intimate visual depictions published without the consent of the person depicted. This covers both authentic imagery and digital forgeries โ AI-generated, deepfake, or otherwise synthetic intimate depictions of an identifiable person.
Huntzu displays only non-explicit preview imagery, so intimate depictions should never appear in our index. If one nonetheless does โ including material that evaded our filtering โ the process below applies.
Who may submit: the depicted individual, or a person authorized to act on their behalf (including a parent or legal guardian).
A valid removal request must be in writing and include all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature โ typing your full legal name constitutes an electronic signature
- Identification of the material โ the specific URL(s) on huntzu.com and enough information for us to locate the depiction
- A brief good-faith statement that the intimate visual depiction is of you (or the person you represent) and was published without consent, or that it is a digital forgery of you
- Your contact information โ an email address at minimum
Upon receiving a valid request, we will:
- Remove the reported depiction as soon as possible, and in all cases within 48 hours
- Make reasonable efforts to identify and remove known identical copies from our index
- Add the removed material to our suppression list to prevent re-indexing
- Never charge a fee, and never require a court order, police report, or identity document as a precondition for removal
We apply this standard globally, regardless of where you are located. We may remove reported material in good faith even if it is later determined not to constitute NCII.
If intimate images of you are circulating more widely, StopNCII.org can help prevent them from being shared across participating platforms. Please note that removal from Huntzu removes the listing from our index only; it does not remove material from the source platform or from other websites.
3. Impersonation and Fraudulent Listings
If a profile indexed on Huntzu impersonates you โ for example, an account on a source platform using your identity or images without authorization โ report it to us with supporting evidence, and we will delist it upon verification. Because the underlying account exists on the source platform, you should also report the impersonation directly to that platform; delisting from Huntzu does not take down the source account.
4. Other Illegal Content
For material you believe is otherwise unlawful โ for example, content that violates a court order or applicable law in your jurisdiction โ submit a report describing the material, the specific URL(s), and the legal basis for your claim. We review these reports within 5 business days and remove or delist material where we determine, in our reasonable discretion, that it is unlawful or violates our Terms of Service.
5. How to Submit a Report
Email [email protected] with the subject line "Content Report โ [Minors / NCII / Impersonation / Other]" and include:
- The category of your report
- The specific URL(s) on huntzu.com
- A description of the issue and any supporting evidence (screenshots are helpful)
- Your contact information and, where applicable, the signature and statements described in Section 2
We will confirm receipt, may request additional information where reasonably necessary to verify the report, and will notify you of the outcome. Reports are handled confidentially and shared only as needed to process the request or as required by law.
6. Good Faith โ No Fees, No Retaliation
All removals under this policy are free of charge. Any person or service demanding payment for removal from Huntzu is not affiliated with us and is fraudulent by definition โ see our Security & Trust page.
Please submit reports in good faith. Deliberately false or abusive reports divert resources from genuine victims and may expose you to legal liability.
7. Related Policies
This policy is part of Huntzu's Terms of Service and works alongside our DMCA Policy (copyright complaints), Privacy Policy (data rights, including creator profile removal under its Section 2), and Security & Trust page.
